Yesterday I had an appointment with a psychiatrist and he confirmed that I have pretty severe inattentive ADHD. I've started meds today and it's a bit weird! We'll see how things go...I hope well because I really need some help.

Out of sight, out of mind...
Following up from my most recent post, this is yet another symptom of ADHD.
Some progress there, though -- I joined an ADHD forum and talked to some folks. They gave me some doc recs and how to get evaluated more quickly than the usual 1-2 year wait list here in NZ.
With their help, I was able to get an appointment to get assessed in the New Year. Much quicker than a year!
